Teacher Training #2

I just finished taking my 2nd Yoga Teacher Training. This was the same Teacher Training course I took last year at The Yoga Passage in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They allowed me to return to take it over for no extra charge.. I just had to be willing to respond to any request they had for me.

This was so priceless to take part in again. The biggest thing I learned, or at least had reinforced, was that I will always be learning something new about life. Living is truly an art.

Since taking my first teacher training in 2010 I have taught about 500 yoga classes and read as much or more about yoga and anatomy and probably discussed yoga just as much. The one major thing that I have not really done though is truly observe my students in their poses as the way that my mind has been working is to do the practice while teaching... I don't do the practice to be able to say that I did a practice, its more so because of the way I have been in life (autism/asperger syndrome/high functioning autism).

Soon I will be back in my hometown teaching yoga again.

After I have fine tuned my notes about the Teacher Training I will post them here just for insights into what to expect from a Teacher Training.

Other things on my list of to-do's... create sequences for Yoga Classes geared towards hip and shoulder replacements and delving into Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

Namaste,
